1. Our Approach to Privacy

SnapTik was built around a simple idea: you should be able to save a public TikTok video without handing over personal information to do it. This policy explains, in plain language, what data touches our systems when you use snaptikk.com, what we deliberately choose not to collect, how long anything is kept, and who else (such as our advertising and analytics partners) may be involved. This policy applies to snaptikk.com and its supported language versions. It does not apply to TikTok itself, to the creators whose videos you download, or to any third-party site you reach by following an outbound link from our pages.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or date of birth. We do not ask for your TikTok username, password, or any TikTok account credentials, and we never request access to your TikTok account. We do not process payments, so we never collect card numbers or billing details. We do not require you to create a SnapTik account, so there is no persistent user profile, saved download history, or login session tied to your identity on our side.

3. Information We Temporarily Process

When you paste a public TikTok link into the download box, that URL is sent to our servers so we can retrieve the publicly available video data associated with it and prepare download options. This processing is transient: the link and the resulting file preparation exist only long enough to serve your download, and we do not build a permanent, searchable archive of the links people paste or the videos they download.

If a download fails or times out, our systems may briefly retain error details (such as the link format or a failure reason) purely to help us debug the issue. This diagnostic data is not linked to your name or any other personal identifier, since we never collect one in the first place.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SnapTik uses a small number of essential cookies required for the site to function correctly, such as remembering your selected language so you are not redirected back to English on every visit. These essential cookies do not track you across other websites.

We also allow limited operational analytics and advertising cookies, described in the two sections below. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect features like the saved-language preference, but the core download tool will still work.

5. Google AdSense and Advertising

SnapTik displays advertising served through Google AdSense to help keep the tool free. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. This is standard practice across most ad-supported websites and is not something SnapTik controls directly.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info. We do not share any personal profile with advertisers, because we do not maintain one to share; ad personalization, where it happens, is handled directly between your browser and Google's advertising systems.

6. Analytics and Operational Data

To keep the downloader reliable and to understand rough usage patterns, we log limited operational events: request counts, download-started events, install events for the installable web app, an approximate country derived from your IP address, general device/browser type, and IP-based signals used to detect automated abuse. We may also use a standard web analytics service (such as Google Analytics) that works similarly, using cookies or device identifiers to report aggregate traffic patterns.

Detailed event-level logs are retained for a limited period (up to 30 days) so we can investigate abuse or bugs, after which they age out automatically. Aggregate counters, such as a running total of downloads processed, may be kept longer in a minimal, non-identifying form (a running number, not a per-person history).

7. Data Security

All traffic to and from snaptikk.com is encrypted using HTTPS. Our backend infrastructure uses server-side security measures, including access controls on the systems that process download requests, to protect the temporary processing activity described above. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but because we do not collect passwords, payment data, or persistent personal profiles, the practical impact of any incident is significantly limited by design.

8. Children's Privacy

SnapTik is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the service does not require registration and does not knowingly collect personal identifiers from any user, we do not maintain profiles specifically identifying child users. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through some other channel, such as an email to our support address, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users and Data Transfers

SnapTik is used by people in many countries, and our infrastructure and service providers (including hosting and analytics/advertising partners) may process data in countries other than your own. By using SnapTik, you understand that limited operational data described in this policy may be processed outside your country of residence, under the safeguards those providers maintain.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what limited data is associated with your use of the service, and to request its deletion. Because we do not collect names, emails, or account identifiers by default, most of what we hold is aggregate or short-lived operational data rather than a personal profile. If you have a specific request, such as asking about IP-based abuse-monitoring records tied to a specific session, email help@snaptikk.com with the details (for example, an approximate timestamp and browser/device) and we will do our best to locate and address it within our 30-day retention window.

11. Third-Party Links

Our pages may link to TikTok, to social media profiles, or to other external resources. Once you leave snaptikk.com, that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party site you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the service, our advertising partners, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of SnapTik after a change means you accept the revised policy.
